What is Baisect?
Baisect is a marketplace for AI-assisted software builders who need specialist engineering help.
AI coding assistants and no-code tools can help people build software much faster, but some projects eventually reach problems that require deeper technical expertise. Baisect connects those builders with engineers who can investigate, diagnose, and solve those problems.
The goal of Baisect is not to replace AI-assisted development. It is to provide experienced engineering expertise when an AI-assisted project reaches a technical problem that the builder cannot resolve alone.
What Baisect does
Baisect turns a plain-English description of a problem into a structured Issue Report that separates what is known, what changed, the evidence available and what still needs investigation. It then helps the builder find an engineer whose skills and experience are relevant to that specific problem.
Who Baisect is for
Baisect is built for two groups:
- AI-assisted builders - founders, product creators and makers using tools like Lovable, Cursor, Bolt, Replit and v0 who hit a technical problem they cannot resolve on their own.
- Specialist engineers - experienced developers who want to work on well-described, relevant technical problems.
How Baisect works
The process is designed so that a builder does not need to diagnose the technical cause first.
- Describe what is going wrong in plain English, with any screenshots, error messages or logs.
- Baisect structures the information into a clear Issue Report.
- A relevant specialist engineer reviews the report and can see why their experience fits.
- The engineer helps diagnose, fix, finish or improve the work, depending on what the problem needs.
Why Baisect exists
AI-assisted development has made it far easier to start building software, which means more people now reach the point where a real engineering problem stands between them and a working product. Traditional freelancer directories ask those builders to write a technical job spec and judge candidates themselves. Baisect exists to remove that gap: you describe the symptom, and the technical context is organized before an engineer gets involved.
The types of technical problems Baisect can help with
- Login and authentication (OAuth, sessions, Supabase/Firebase access rules).
- Payments and subscriptions (Stripe checkout, billing state, webhooks).
- Databases and application data (Postgres, migrations, slow queries, data relationships).
- APIs and integrations (external APIs, CORS, timeouts, third-party services).
- Deployment and production (build failures, environment variables, hosting, domains).
- AI-generated code problems (tangled files, hallucinated dependencies, refactoring).
How engineers participate
Engineers join Baisect to work on problems that match their actual stack and specialist experience. Because each problem arrives as a structured Issue Report with known facts, evidence and open questions separated, an engineer can judge the fit before engaging and choose how to work: diagnosis, a fixed scope, milestones, or capped hourly.
How builders submit problems
Baisect is in early access. Builders can send an issue through the intake form now for manual review, and builders and engineers can join the waitlist for launch updates. At launch, builders will describe a problem in plain English and have it structured into an Issue Report before being matched with a specialist.
